I was looking my statistic in Google Analytics and I have to say I was kind of disappointed. Novak’s blog receives about 100 visits from Google. I really think this is not enough.
I did a lot of SEO on my blog and Novak’s blog shows on many front pages of Google. Novak’s blog even topped Codemaster’s official website for Colin McRae Dirt with my review of the game. I removed text-link-ads because there is a lot of buzz around Google penalizing anyone who has text-link-ads on his website. I was expecting a little boost in my traffic, but nothing changed.
Not long ago I had over 200 hits from Google a day but I guess I’ve got penalized because traffic dropped rapidly to a 100. Since than I couldn’t increase it no matter what. As it seems Google penalized me because I started to use text-link-ads. I removed them two weeks ago and I’m still waiting for stats to rise. I mailed Google to report removing link ads but no luck so far. I’m almost 100% sure I’m not doing anything wrong that would penalize my blog at the moment. And I’m even more sure I will try not to mess something up again.
Today my Google stats dropped even more to about 60 visits a day. I just don’t understand.
What I would like to know is
- how much Google traffic do you get on daily basis
- can you give me some pointers about what I’m doing wrong
I would appreciate every response about this matter.
